Karenna is a singer-songwriter and performer based in the North Bay Area, with years of stage and performance experience in clown, dance, comedy, improv, and burlesque.
Karenna’s unique original music has been described as Lady Gaga meets Tenacious D, blending strong power vocals with deep soulful melodies, accompanied by her Baritone Ukulele. Her songs weave together messages of body positivity, feminism, self love, and celebrate the absurd aspects of being a human.
This is Karenna Slade's debut solo EP featuring six original songs. The songs are representations of Karenna's journey into becoming a solo musician and a Midlife Queen.

Qu'in de la Noche makes her premiere appearance at Forbidden Kiss LIVE in this Steampunk-themed show.
Cheryl King presents bawdy vaudeville at its finest, with burlesque from Thotty McNaughty, and musical performances from Reggie K and Karenna Slade. Titus Androgynous will bring their new drag routine, and Underground Improv provides comedy sketches and improvisation with prompts from the audience.
A costume contest is planned (if enough of our audience comes dressed up), with the audience voting for their favorites with our voting app, and prizes awarded!

Karenna Slade is a singer songwriter and performer who’s original music has been described as Lady Gaga meets Tenacious D. Karenna shines so bright on stage that her audience leaves with an afterglow. Her performance background includes theater, clown, burlesque and she has got some pipes!
Karenna is on a mission to smash the patriarchy through unapologetically being herself, and sharing her pure joy of music and art with the world.
